Scag High Council
The high council was fored at the request of many scags for some sort of leadership system. As you all know, Scag has no leader, and never will have a leader. It's a clan by SC Addicts, for SC Addicts. The Scag High Council is a group of select Scags that through their activeness, personality, and overall attitude towards both SC and other Scags have shown that they are a cut above the rest. The Scag High Council can periodically vote to accept and/or kick out members, but any vote to do so needs to be unanimous. Benefits of being in the SHC include rank of "Leader" on the Scag Bot, (to see these ranks type "!whois [player name]") a right to fully operate your own bot in the Scag Clan Channel, and of course, bragging rights! For security reasons, only SGC members can fully operate bots in the Scag Clan Channel.

Currently, the only High Council member is: BannedScag

Main Rules 'O Scagdom
In order to become a member of Scag, a player must first meet certain criteria. These are as follows, and are MANDATORY to join Scag!

Addiction to StarCraft
No matter what, under any circumstances, any player that would like to become a member of Scag has to be an avid Starcraft player. This requirement reaches to the very backbone of Scag. Since we are all addicted gamers, any member must love playing StarCraft and let it be known by their presence on Battle.net.

Activity
Any member who joins Scag must play Starcraft frequently. Joining up and then never playing under their Scag account is unnaceptable. This doesn't mean a member can't use other BNet accounts, or be part of another BNet clan, it simply means that it is preferred that a member's Scag account was his most commonly used one. If any member joins and stays inactive for long periods of time (inactivity is defined as not logging onto your Scag account and entering the clan channel for over 3 weeks), or does not regularly play under his clan name, he will be placed on the inactive list. If a player cannot play frequently due to work, family, etc. he can still be a member of the clan, since these are things that he has no control over. He just has to be sure to tell the other members so that his abscence is not mistaken for inactivity. The Scag bot automatically logs all member entrances and exits of the channel. If a member of Scag is not seen for over 3 weeks, he will be considered inactive and will be removed from the active member roster. C'mon, if you really are addicted then isn't once every 3 weeks an easy thig to do?

Name Requirements
After being inducted, a member must choose a name with the acronym "Scag" in it. It may be in all capitals, or all lowercase, or any mix of the two. It may be used as a suffix ("BannedScag"), a prefix ("ScagMan"), or in the middle of the name (Ima_SCAG_Master). A member cannot use the word in such a way that it will form a derogatory comment towards the clan (e.g. "Scag_Sucks" or "Scags_R_Dumb" are unacceptable names).

Hardware and Software Requirements
Any member of Scag must have a lag-free connection. Any member who consistenly lags, whether it be his connection or his computer's performance, can be expulsed from the clan. A member of Scag who consistently lags is creating an annoying deterance from the game for other members. In addition, any member of Scag must have Starcraft: Brood War. Anyone without the Brood War expansion will not be admitted to Scag.

Hacking Policy
All Scag members cannot hack or manipulate the gameplay environment to their advantage or disadvantage without clan approval. Any member who hacks in a clan game without approval is subject to immediate expulsion from the clan. Hacking is only accepted in Scag when all members of a game agree to it.

Backstabbing Policy
Any Scag member who backstabs either another member or any other player without provocation (provocation is defined as being backstabbed first) is subject to immediate expulsion from the clan. Backstabbing is NEVER allowed and is looked down upon by members of Scag. Backstabbing is an immoral act and detracts from the enjoyment of the gameplay experience.

Bots in Clan Channel Policy
For security reasons, only members of the Scag High Council are allowed to operate bots in the clan channel. Any other people, whether they are members or not, will have their bots banned from the channel if they try to operate them in there. Operating a bot is defined as allowing a bot to interact with other members, non-members, and/or bots. If a bot simply sits there and does not respond to commands or issue any of its own, then it is allowed. This rule has been instituted in order to prevent unneeded spamming of the channel by a multitude of bots. If a member of Scag wants to use a bot to periodically check who is on B.net without having to start up SC, they are more than free to do so. All that we ask is that if they use a bot, to turn off all commands for it, and to be sure that it remains silent. Only members of the Scag High Council are able to fully operate bots in the channel.
